DPS offers programs and events focused around equity and inclusion that are open to both DPS employees and the Denver community.

ED Talks

This free speaker series brings together the DPS community to participate in conversations around diversity, equity and inclusion within the field of education. Each ED Talk is an opportunity to hear a thought-provoking speaker; from nationally acclaimed leaders in education to student-led performances.

ED Talk: Conversations on Belonging and Inclusion

Join DPS team members and the Denver community as we bring together individuals from our different Belong groups for a panel discussion on how we can promote a culture of inclusion across the district.

Equity Boot Camp

Equity Boot Camp provides an opportunity to build professional and personal skills with colleagues, to deepen our ability to infuse equity, inclusion and culturally responsive practices in schools and teams throughout the district.

Equity Boot Camp is a full day program that provides you the opportunity to build skills and deepen your ability to infuse equity, inclusion and culturally responsive practices into your work. Each session has a specific focus and is offered twice to allow flexibility with scheduling.
